Outsourcing Your Photo Editing - FAQ
You shoot. I edit. You review. You deliver. That's it. You get your time back, your clients get their images, and nobody has to sacrifice their evenings to Lightroom. Win all round.
Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, We Sent It, whatever works for you. If you're not set up with any of those, I'll help you get sorted. Prefer something else? Just say.
Yes, up to 3 images, completely free. No commitment, no awkwardness. Just a proper look at whether this works for you.
Absolutely. Send them over and they stay yours, I only ever use them on your images. Never anyone else's. Promise.
I don't, I'm a Lightroom gal. If that's a dealbreaker, totally fair but if you're open to it, Lightroom catalogues make the whole process really slick.
3 months on my computer, another 3 months on my backup drive, then they're gone for good. Your images aren't hanging around indefinitely.
Password protected computer, up-to-date software, secure backup drive, password-protected cloud accounts. Your images are safe. I take that seriously.
Not even slightly, if you use Lightroom catalogues with smart previews, it's actually really quick. I'll walk you through it if you've never done it before.
Lightroom Catalogues are a great way to outsource your wedding processing.
1. Create a catalogue for your wedding
2. Import your photos
3. Export the catalogue with smart previews
4. Locate catalogue in your computer files
5. Upload the catalogue and the smart previews folder to our chosen file transfer
Once I have edited the catalogue I will upload the updated version and you simply open it your end, you will be asked if you wish to update to the current edits.
Then we talk about it and I fix it. Simple as that. It rarely happens, but when it does, we work through it together until it's right. I'm not here to leave you with something you can't send out.
Yes — I work with photographers in the USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore and anywhere else in the world. The whole process is digital so location is no barrier at all.
