Frequently asked questions
Outsourcing means letting someone else handle part of your work. For photographers, it means you can focus on shooting while I take care of the editing. You send me the images, I edit them, and then you review them before delivering to your client. This way, you save time and can book more clients!
You can send your images via Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer. If you're not familiar with these, I'll help you set them up. Prefer another method? Just let me know, and we'll make it work!
I do indeed, I'm more than happy to edit up to 5 images free of charge to see if outsourcing is right for you.
I do use presets and actions. If you have any that you regularly use on your images I ask for these to be provided and assure you that they will ONLY be used on your images.
I dont I'm afraid, I use Adobe Lighroom.
I keep your images on my computer for 3 months. After that, they're deleted from the computer but stay on my backup drive for another 3 months before being permanently deleted.
I keep your images secure with a password-protected computer, up-to-date software, and a securely stored backup drive. Plus, my Google Drive and Dropbox accounts are password protected.
If you use Adobe Lightroom and are familiar with Catalogues then it is so easy to send a high volume of images.
You can send me the Catalogue with the smart previews, its so quick so send back and forth.
Lightroom Catalogues are a great way to outsource your wedding processing.
1. Create a catalogue for your wedding
2. Import your photos
3. Export the catalogue with smart previews
4. Locate catalogue in your computer files
5. Upload the catalogue and the smart previews folder to our chosen file transfer
Once I have edited the catalogue I will upload the updated version and you simply open it your end, you will be asked if you wish to update to the current edits.
Your feedback is important to me to maintain consistent style and quality. If you're not happy with the editing, I'll make adjustments. It's rare to redo a job, but I'm always open to reevaluating the images with you.
